A Quitter's Quitter

Can you believe it? I can. And this ain't the first time Palin has quit government service. She quit her mayor job too. Her attempts to spin this failure to complete an obligation may resonate with the the knuckle-dragging faction of the Right, but it ain't working for me.

She also quit service, between mayoral and gubernatorial gigs, as chair of the Oil and Gas commission after less than a year.

And how many colleges did she quit? Pfft.

Who in their right mind would want this quitter serving in any level of government service? She cut and ran. She's emboldening the "enemy." She's a loser and a quitter.

Fuck her.

Well, a coach at my high school used to have a poster on the locker room wall that read "Winners never quit, and quitters never win."

We can hope she won't be able to win in the future... but that poster was on that wall 35 years ago.

Now, a significant portion of the American population lives in Wingnut World, a place in which 2 + 2 = 5 one day, and maybe it = 6 the next. The answer to the problem depends not on the reality of the situation, but rather on who is asking the question.

The gibbering knuckledraggers will be working hard to spin this into something more like "Winners can quit if they feel strongly it is in their own best interest to quit, and that still makes them winners because they stand on their principles."

Or some such bullshit type of thing... I can't figure out their "logic", their cognitive dissonance, or whatever it is.

Good post, Carlos.

Good riddance to Mooselini.

There are millions of retarded neckdroolers out there who worship her every move, but I don't think there are enough of them to get her elected to anything else.
