Pyramids - Complex, Geometric Shapes

In 2005, some cretin, somewhere in Gubmentland. decided that the original food pyramid wasn’t good enough. Thence was born MyPyramid – a mess of information that means nothing to the casual observer – a far cry from the pretty-easy-to-get original pyramid.

In June our illustrious Food Leaders will unveil a second abortion of an idea – The Food Plate.

Was the original food pyramid that hard a concept to grasp? For those of us who aren't molecular biologists, doctors, or dieticians, the thing was pretty easy to get. I don't need an atomic-level definition of what's good to eat/not good to eat.

If you pocket-protector-wearing pencil necks want a special "doctor plate" to fawn over (or masturbate over), knock yourselves out using your spare money, not taxpayer money. If you’re that interested in changing the MyPyramid, change it back to the original one. It was pretty simple.

I just ignore all that drivel. The ever-evolving Food Pyramid, and the "scientific" reports that change every day. Coffee is good for you. Coffee causes cancer and kidney failure. Moderate drinkers live longer. ANY amount of alcohol puts you at a huge risk for cancer, heart disease and liver failure. Etc.
