Dude!

Dear Dubya:

What’s all the hubbub about John Kerry’s comments about education as it relates to war? Let’s see…what did he say? It goes a little something like this:

"Education, if you make the most of it and you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Statistics and history back Kerry’s assertion that non-college-educated people are much more apt to go to war. Sad but true.

Oh, and the inference probably had something to do with you, don’t you think? And you try to twist it into a barb against the troops in Iraq? Sheesh.

Where were you during the Viet Nam war? Yeah…I know too. No need to look so meek. It was a bad decision and it was in the past. Everybody makes bad decisions.

And you demand an apology from Kerry? Come on dude. Really. Isn’t that just a bit hypocritical?

I doubt the guys and gals in Iraq need an apology from Kerry. They’ve got better things to worry about, like keeping their asses and the asses of their buddies alive.

Love from Texas,

Karlos
