Thanks For The McMemories

Did I say that?

"I am a war criminal. I bombed innocent women and children." ~John McCain, on CBS' "60 Minutes," 1997.

Straight from the horse's mouth. I'll take his word for it.

McCain is so easy to attack on so many levels. I just hope our timid Democratic powers-that-be aren't afraid of the GOP playing the "hero" card, and that they go after McCain with everything they have.

Tom: Indeed. And he wants to say in Iraq for a hundred years if that's what it takes. Pfft. To do what?

Snave: I agree. The Dems really need to give this guy the business. I'll be wholly disappointed if they don't.

The Dems won't do shit to stop this bastard just like they didn't do shit to stop the war. They don't bite the hand that feeds.

Sadly, you're probably right. Politicians are too busy being pantywastes to take a stand on anything without worrying about what people will think about them.

Substance people, substance. Anyone running for president is easy to attack on any level, so what. It's been 60 years that we've been in Germany & Japan, 50 years in Korea. A committment was made, finish the committment or do not ever make another committment - domestically or internationally. Whether it be Obama or McCain, we're there for the long haul. Neither dems or reps would or could pull out of Iraq. Wake up. The choice for this November is who can implement a successful plan for Iraq. Truly a war criminal? Then prosecute him or move on. Substance counts, not BS.

Or a not-so-long haul. Regardless of the reasons we went in, we need to get out responsibly. I don’t buy for a minute that it has to be a long haul.

It’ll take generations to unfuck what Bush fucked up, but getting out of Iraq smartly can be done by either McCain or Obama. The only question is whether McCain really wants out of Iraq.

Truly a war criminal? Then prosecute him or move on.
Hypocrisy was the point of this post, not the “crime.” It is my opinion that McCain served honorably and selflessly.

Substance counts, not BS.
Maybe you should’ve orchestrated the Republican National Convention then. The RNC substance vacuum was so profound I felt it in Texas.
