“We are a professional Army and professional units don’t conceal their identity by wearing masks,” Lieutenant Colonel Steve Stover, US Army, in an email to the Washington post regarding the military’s ban on Iraqi interpreters’ practice of concealing their faces when working for the U.S.
That’s fabulous Steve, you dumbass. I wonder what you would think if the shoe were on the other foot. Would you risk your life and the lives of your family to be “professional”?
And in case you haven’t noticed, Iraqi interpreters are not professional troops in a professional army. And how what about some of those elite
I suppose I should cut you some slack; you may just be following orders regarding the “We are a professional Army” quote. If true, pass this post up the chain of command to the dumbass who ordered you to say that.

I guess that means American politicians who go to Iraq for a photo op aren't "professional" if they have bodyguards or an armored vehicle. McCain and Rumsfeld both come to mind.
