May all you elected and appointed politicians and officials have a merry (insert appropriate holiday here), and use this time with your family, friends and loved ones to reflect on how you served We the People this past year. Did you do an honest day's work for an honest day's pay? Did you uphold high ethical standards? Did you avoid the smallest appearances of impropriety? Did you serve honorably?
Think about the special people you're with today, and how you treat them with respect and dignity. Don't you think We the People deserve the same treatment?

That is, not fewer posts from you, but fewer people who stand out enough that they need to be posted about.
You are right, We the People deserve better than what is continually served up to us. On the diet they give us, I'm surprised the country isn't dead of malnutrition by now! 8-)
This post would make an excellent Christmas card to be sent to all politicians. If the recipient finds it insulting, that person shouldn't be in government.
