Chuck Grassley (R – Iowa, go figure) has been critical of Obama’s economic stimulus plan (pork), but has supported a $50,000,000 plan to build a five-acre, indoor rainforest in Coralville, Iowa since 2003!! He tried to shove it into the Energy Policy Act of 2003, and then again into the Omnibus Appropriations Bill in January of 2004.Mr. Chuck, Please take your state, your rain, and your forest, and shove it. You’re your lack of shame is exceeded only by your gall.

Funny how conservatives are always so "thrifty" when it comes to the public safety net or the environment or workers' safety. And then they turn around and push for a jillion dollar albatross just because it'll benefit their own district.
