Republican Utah State Senator Michael Wuddoups wants a state government database to keep track of where people are drinking. He proposes a mandate that would require bars & taverns to scan the IDs of every patron. That information would be fed into a big, Utah state government database, probably somewhere in one of them thar freaky Mormon temples.
And here I thought Republicans were for smaller government. Hopefully Wuddoups’ political career will end in the Utah Senate.

Another one of those "limited government" Republicans. Multi-billion dollar corporations should be left alone to do exactly what they want, even when their actions affect millions of people. Private individuals need to have their personal lives monitored and regulated to the nth degree.
