Roland Burris

My two loyal readers may remember my taking issue with Roland Burris accepting appointment to the Senate by Rod Blagojevich. You may also remember the question I asked in the post: “Why would any person with a shred of integrity and intelligence accept a selection to the U.S. Senate by the likes of Rod Blagojevich?”

Not surprisingly, Burris’s own big fucking mouth has resulted in federal agents kicking off a perjury inquiry; now his son is even being probed.

Someone be a peach and tell me again how that ”quacks like a duck” saying goes?

Chicago mayor, and Tangential Dumbass du Jour, Richard Daley said:

"Let's put everything in perspective and give him an opportunity to explain himself.”

And

"Automatically, every time something happens, people want everybody to resign. Is it becoming very common now to tell people to resign after he was appointed?"

Hey dick (lower case intentional): Quack. Quack.

I'm glad the Democrats are in power now. But it shouldn't be that difficult for them to find people who pay their taxes and aren't involved in scandals.
