Yes, we should tell them that. Why? Because if they don't, we'll end up paying for their apathy and irresponsibility in the end.
How 'bout this compromise, dumbass:
Let's make those who decide to take this "calculated risk" carry national I.D. cards (Which give most Republicans big ol' boners anyway) and make them present them any time they require healthcare they can't pay for.
Even better - Let's embed RFID chips under their skin that will alert healthcare workers a potential patient is lacking healthcare insurance (in case they're unconscious). This way they won't end up freeloading at a county or military emergency room. Surely an anti-social Republican will be able to palate that.

This would be the one and only time when Republicans say "a national I.D. card??? That's Communism! Fascism!"
Heh! Heheheh! He said boner!
Uhhuh, uhuhhuhuh!
Just kidding there, of course, but you are right. They WERE all erect over the Total Information Awareness and National ID stuff weren't they... the bastards!
If we just had a system in which EVERYONE WAS COVERED, we wouldn't even have to think about saying such things to the 25-year-old because... he would already be covered! But no, we have to have asswipes like Kingston running about spouting his gibberish because he can't bear the thought of his beloved Republican party becoming obsolete or relevant... because... it would put him out of work! And he wouldn't have to come up with profound statements like the one you quote here. Sheesh!!!
Good post, as always.
