Palin Speaks

From an interview with Katie Couric that aired 30 September, 2008.

Couric: And when it comes to establishing your worldview, I was curious, what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read before you were tapped for this to stay informed and to understand the world?

Palin: I've read most of them, again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media.

Couric: What, specifically?

Palin: Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me all these years.

Couric: Can you name a few?

Palin: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news, too. Alaska isn't a foreign country, where it's kind of suggested, "Wow, how could you keep in touch with what the rest of Washington, D.C., may be thinking when you live up there in Alaska?" Believe me, Alaska is like a microcosm of America.

I hope she gives that kind of rambling incoherent answers during the debate tomorrow night. I'll enjoy seeing her self-destruct in front of millions of viewers.

Here's a juicy tidbit of fodder for you.

Can you imagine how the script would read?

Tom: I'm sure she will. I'll be recording it for sure.

Margie: LOL. No anal...she'll probably take it after getting reamed in the election ;-)

That reminded me of the Larry King interview with Paris Hilton when he asked her what her favorite passage was from the bible she claimed to be reading, she couldn't answer, she liked them all. I had to change the channel, 15 minutes was to much time for an interview with Paris, I can't imagine a whole hour and my point here is I am comparing Palin to Hilton, hmmm???

All politicians speak that way, but usually regarding a serious issue. You think she could have at least thrown out a name of something she reads, maybe she is like me and doesn't, therefore making it a difficult thing to answer. I bet she supports my ignorance is bliss theory. :) She just can't admit to it, yet.
