Sarah, Sarah, Sarah

"I think on a national level your Department of Law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out." --Sarah Palin, referring to a department that does not exist while attempting to explain why as president she wouldn't be subjected to the same ethics investigations that compelled her to resign as governor of Alaska, ABC News interview, July 7, 2009

She's so fucking easy, but I just couldn't resist.

Palin Speaks

Didn't this poster child for peabrainery already get dinged on her lack of knowledge of the duties of the VP of the US? You'd think she'd want to avoid flaunting her ignorance again.

Palin Speaks

“We've sent our young men and women over to a war zone to protect our rights and our freedoms…”

Our Constitutional rights and freedoms were never threatened. Our safety, yes, but not our rights and freedom.

Palin on SNL

Funniest SNL bit I've seen in years. I wonder if they told Palin this was coming. She sure seemed oblivious to the mockery all around her.

Palin Speaks

"There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't support other women.” – Sarah Palin, 04 October, 2008, quoting Madeleine Albright. Link

Actual quote: "There's a place in hell reserved for women who don't help other women."

Albright’s response: "Though I am flattered that Governor Palin has chosen to cite me as a source of wisdom, what I said had nothing to do with politics. This is yet another example of McCain and Palin distorting the truth, and all the more reason to remember that this campaign is not about gender, it is about which candidate has an agenda that will improve the lives of all Americans, including women. The truth is, if you care about the status of women in our society and in our troubled economy, the best choice by far is Obama-Biden."

Palin Speaks

In tonight's debate:

She said "Infastructure."
She referred to her opponents as "Sentator Obama and Senator Obiden."

Palin Speaks

From an interview with Katie Couric that aired 30 September, 2008.

Couric: And when it comes to establishing your worldview, I was curious, what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read before you were tapped for this to stay informed and to understand the world?

Palin: I've read most of them, again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media.

Couric: What, specifically?

Palin: Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me all these years.

Couric: Can you name a few?

Palin: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news, too. Alaska isn't a foreign country, where it's kind of suggested, "Wow, how could you keep in touch with what the rest of Washington, D.C., may be thinking when you live up there in Alaska?" Believe me, Alaska is like a microcosm of America.

Palin Speaks (was Wannabe Edition)

Did anyone see this?

It’s hard for me to believe there are people in our midst who honestly believe this woman is qualified to do anything more than hoe a garden or navigate an ATV. I know high school kids who could've done better than this. She's so incompetent she can't even spew scripted mantra right!

It doesn't suprise me anymore, and that worries me.
