Department of Dumbass

Republican turd from Kentucky Thomas Massie has introduced legislation to eliminate the Federal Department of Education.  Brace yourself, the language in the bill is pretty high falutin’ by Kentucky standards:

“The Department of Education shall terminate on December 31, 2018.”

Whew.  Thank you Mr. Massie – You’ve improved my vocabulary and reading comprehension tenfold!

Those of you who are so-inclined, should write your Congressmen to complain about this fuckin’ imp.

Oh, and if you want to send him a little love note or call him, here’s his contact information:

Twitter:  @RepThomasMassie
WebMail:  Link
Telephone:  (502) 265-9119

And if your kids growing up to have the intellect of Kellyanne Conway or, God forbid, Donald Trump doesn’t piss you off…

…You should definitely be pissed that the party of dumbassery (That’s the GOP for you GOPers) is contributing to our country’s unemployed population.  Poor, poor Betsy DeVos will be unemployed if this cruel legislation passes through the wickets, and is signed into law by our Toddler in Chief, His Sensitivity, Donald “Big Fuckin’ Pussy” J. Trump.

Big Brother

The Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas is using RFID devices to track students.  Here are a couple of stories on the topic:

Personally, I think the use of RFID chips wholesale on kids is a little much.  But…that’s where our society is going – we’ve been slowly morphing from a culture of compliance and accountability, to a culture of babysitting.  In other words, whoever proposed and implemented this initiative is taking the easy route.  Instead of doing it the “hard” way by dealing individually with those who violate the rules, they’ve opted to make everyone pay by tethering them to a technological solution.  Never mind human interaction and trying to further understand kids’ psyches; let’s just tie a computer around their necks and be done with it, so we can go back to our little sterile administrative offices, computer screens and meetings.

If local governments were really concerned about funding and providing solid educations for all children, they wouldn’t let inner-city school flounder because of the inequitable use of taxes collected and distributed to schools based on the affluence of the taxpayers.

Where the fuck is Rick Perry and his small government solutions now?
