The Hypocrisy of the Right

So…Politicians on the Right continue to pursue the symbolic effort of futility to repeal healthcare reform. Not all of them, but enough of them.

What I find abso-fucking-lutely baffling is how they can do that with a clear conscience. Yeah, yeah. I know – the possession of conscience by Righties is pure theory, but indulge me.

Anyway…Despite the fact that their chances of successfully repealing the healthcare law are pretty much nil, many Republicans and Teabaggers press on. A vote on repeal is scheduled for next week.

What makes my head explode is how repeal-supporters can continue this vain effort, knowing it will fail. Apparently, the morons forgot they work for We the People. Hell, even their man-hours costs money – Our money. Where’s the outrage from right-minded constituents? They should be fuming that their elected officials are playing theatrics with taxpayer money.

This fraudulent, money-wasting effort is being pushed by the very party that said all legislation that would require the spending of our hard-earned money would have to be offset by cuts in spending. Of course, this little repeal fantasy is exempt from their self-imposed/declared policy.

Instead of wasting time (and our fucking money) on a hopeless repeal, the Right should do the ethical thing and work toward improving it. Fuckin’ idiots.

But you don't understand -- The American People don't want socialized medicine rammed down their throats.

The catch is, of course, when Boner and Bitch McConnell say "The American People," they're referring to the HMO lobbyists who financed their re-elections.

Silly me! I forgot HMOs are now "people." :-)
