Hey Whitey

White supremacists/nationalists (aka racist assholes) marching in Virginia. Unfuckingbelievable. This is the culture that Donald Trump inspires. This is the society his ilk, generally speaking, desires and/or tolerates. This is not what America is about. This is not what the vast majority of people in our country are like.

Free speech is one thing. Hateful, bigoted speech is another.

The leaders of a people who seceded from our country because they wanted to enslave an entire race of people should not be memorialized in shrines and statues. While they are most certainly of historical significance/interest, they represent an era in our society that never should have happened.

Claiming that these statues/shrines/memorials represent the heritage of today's Americans is disingenuous. They may be of interest to those whose ancestors they are, and that’s fine, but to insist that your ancestors’ bad decisions (i.e. slavery) be on display for everyone to see is presumptuous and offensive. I have German ancestors, some of whom may have been Nazis; I can’t imagine why I’d want a shrine in my public square memorializing them and their horrific deeds. Would it be interesting to me? Absolutely. Would I want to preserve it in my family history? Absolutely. But I wouldn’t for a second pretend to believe that anyone else besides genealogists, historians, and family would give a shit about it.

Seriously – If you enjoy the history of our country, are sincerely interested in your heritage and ancestors, and want to make sure this history of our country is preserved, and not whitewashed, get involved in a historical society, a museum, your local libraries.

I find our country’s history extremely interesting – The good and the bad, but I don’t glorify the enslavement of human beings and that it’s something everyone should see.

So snap the fuck out of it, and do something good for your country, your state, your city, your community, your neighborhood. Don’t be an uninvolved leech that thrives on conflict.

Sara Huckabee Sanders blatantly lied to the American public the other day by saying: "The President in no way form or fashion has ever promoted or encouraged violence. If anything, quite the contrary."

Select Trump Quotes:

“I’d like to punch him in the face.”

“The audience swung back, and it was very appropriate. He was swinging, he was hitting people, and the audience hit back. That’s what we need a little bit more of.”

“Maybe he should have been roughed up because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing.”

“I don’t know if I’ll do the fighting myself, or if other people will.” “If you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them, would you? Seriously, OK? Just knock the hell — I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise. I promise. They won’t be so much, because the courts agree with us too — what’s going on in this country.”

That our President encourages (probably orders) administration staff to lie to the American public is a disgrace to the office, to public service, and our country. It's downright pathetic.

When it's all over and done with, Trump apologists and defenders will be recorded in history for what they are.

Just Fuck Trump

I’m no economist, but I’m pretty sure Trump’s fucked in the head…and we’re just plain fucked.

1. We’re going to pay out the ass for the wall/fence/whatever, since Congress is Republican controlled and Mexico isn’t paying for shit.

2. We’re going to pay for 10,000 more border patrol agents to round up those evil, dangerous undocumented immigrants. Who's going to do the jobs they work so hard at?  Not Americans, that's for sure.  Ask tomato farmers in Alabama about that.

3. In addition to that, we’re going to have to pay for bigger holding facilities for detained immigrants.

4. Federal courts are going to have to be beefed up to handle the increased workload.

5. Trump and the GOP-controlled Congress are surely going to slash public assistance. What will happen to our working poor citizens?

6. He’s also going to increase tariffs on Mexican imports that we’ll end up paying for, so we’ll pay for the wall twice because Mexico will surely pass on the increased cost of doing business with us to American consumers.

7. The administration and all the GOP dunces in Congress are against raising minimum wage, but for reducing corporate tax rates. 8. The Christian hypocrites’ war on a women’s choice is going to cost everyone more money, whether it’s trying to find homes for unwanted children, or paying medical costs for women injured or killed getting illegal abortions.

Again – I’m no economist or mathematician, but something just doesn’t add up.

De Dumbass

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) had a web site once upon a time.  Then Toddler in Chief Donald J. Trump appointed painfully unqualified Billionaire Betsy DeVos to head the Department of Education.  Shortly after she was confirmed, the IDEA site was magically taken down.

Here it is before it was taken down, thanks to the Internet Wayback Machine.  Now if you try to go there now, you’ll find it gone, dead, kaput.

Great job Betsy, you fuck!

Gone Fishin'

Jason Chaffetz & Wolf Blitzer discuss POTUS and the Emolument Clause of the Constitution.  The hypocrisy just doesn't stop with the Republican party. How many taxpayer dollars did these clowns waste on Hillary Clinton fishing expeditions?

Tangerine Dreams

The latest wind emitting from Herr Trump’s blatherhole, is his promise to “destroy” the Johnson Amendment.  The Johnson Amendment regulates what tax-exempt churches can do in politics.

The Amendment also applies to other tax-exempt entities, and says in part that they:  “…are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office,"

Churches should always have been taxed to some degree but If Tangerine in Chief Trump succeeds in abolishing the amendment, he damned well better start taxing them – Immediately.  Somehow, I can’t imagine that’ll happen.  If he goes that route, we need to barrage our representatives.  Don’t be idle; be involved.

Snowflakes, All of 'em!!!!

The Fascist Snowflake in Chief has decided not to allow his spokesmorons onto CNN, because they’re “fake news.” Coming from an administration full of chronic liars, this is particularly humorous. CNN need not worry about not having these dunces on their shows. Trump and his ilk are quite adept at showing the world, by their big fuckin’ pie holes, that they’re ignorant, dishonest, and just downright awful human beings. Fuck them.

Onward Christian Dumbass

Well, Dumbass in Chief Donald J. Trump (aka DonDon) and his faux-Christian band of little dumbasses can’t seem to get through a full day without fucking something up and/or causing some controversy or another. This time around it’s a ban on Muslims from a few Middle-Eastern countries, all in the name of protecting us from them thar evil terrorists, who are coming here in droves to establish a Muslim caliphate and enact sharia law to enslave and slay all of us God-fearing ‘Murcans. Hey shit heads – You really wanna protect us? See if you can do something about reducing the thousands of us who are murdered every year by mentally unstable idiots with guns. Start pressuring states to enact stricter laws for violent crimes. Release all citizens in prison for possession of drugs for personal use, and keep violent criminals in longer. They have no right to be free. And, since you and your wall-building, refugee-hating followers claim to be devout Christian, which is dubious, I offer a passage from the Bible: Matthew 25:31-46
The Sheep and the Goats 31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ 41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ 44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ 45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Greg Popvich

San Antonio Spurs coach Greg Popovich was asked about the marches around the world on 1/21/17 to protest the inauguration of Donald Trump.  I'm sure the reporter knew exactly how Popovich would respond, and he didn't disappoint.  He went on for four minutes.  Some excerpts:

"I just wish he was more ... had the ability to be mature enough to do something that really is inclusive, rather than just talking and saying, 'I'm going to include everyone.' He could talk to the groups that he disrespected and maligned during the primary and really make somebody believe it. But so far, you've gotten to the point where you really can't believe anything that comes out of his mouth. You really can't. All those thousands that were on the rooftops after 9/11? There were two. 'We went to Hawaii and checked his birth certificate and my investigators couldn't BELIEVE what they found.' There wasn't anything there. It's over and over again."

"The CIA today, instead of honoring the 117 people behind him where he was speaking, he talked about the size of the crowd. That's worrisome. That's worrisome. I'd just feel better if someone was in that position that showed the maturity and psychological and emotional level of someone that was his age. It's dangerous and it doesn't do us any good."

"I hope he does a great job. But there's a difference between respecting the office of the president and the person who occupies it. That respect has to be earned. It's hard to be respectful of someone when we all have kids, and we're watching him be misogynistic and xenophobic and racist and make fun of handicapped people.”

"And what really bothers me are the people around him, the Sean Spicers, the Kellyanne Conways the Reince Preibuses, who know who he is and actually have the cynical approach and disingenuous attitude to really defend him and make him look like he didn't say what he said. When he's mad at the media for them reporting what he said, it just boggles my mind. When Kellyanne Conway said the other day he wasn't really making fun of the handicapped person. It's incredible. It really makes you wonder how far would someone go to actually cover for somebody that much. I think the comment was,' You have to look in his heart. You don't know what's in his heart. He wouldn't do that.' But he did it.”

"But I felt great today watching the march, in protest to how he has conducted himself, because it tells me I really do live in a country where a lot of people care. We have to be vigilant, to be sure. Although we all hope he does good things for our country, that we don't get embarrassed by him and roll back liberties that have been worked for for so long in so many different areas."

"Well I think you know when the media reports what he says, I'm not sure why he can get angry about that. But it does boggle the mind how somebody can be so thin skinned It's all obvious, it's about him. If anything affects him, if it's Saturday Night Live or Hamilton, or she got three more million votes than you. 'They're illegal.' It doesn't matter what it is, there's a pattern there. And that's dangerous.”

DEOTUS (Dumbass Elect of the US)

Considering idiot boy Donald Trump is the self-anointed king of non-political-correctness, he sure is acting like a big fucking pussy when other people decide to leave political correctness at home.

Mr. Sensitivity exposes his baby's-ass-soft psyche for all to see on Twitter every day.  How his fans don't see how unstable he is, is beyond me.  And this son of a bitch is going to command our military and have the ability to start a thermonuclear war.  That is pretty God damned scary.

Wake the fuck up, America.  We're in danger.

Conflict of Interest? Pfffft.

Once upon a time, Exxon Mobil invested heavily in Russia, securing 16+ million acres of land to drill on. Then, in 2011, the U.S. levied sanctions against Russia, effectively costing Exxon Mobil a shitload of money.

Fast forward to today:
1. CEO of Exxon Mobil is being considered for Secretary of State.
2. PEOTUS loves Russia and Vladimir Putin, praising him and the country, and heavily pushing friendlier relations with Russia.

If you think those Russian sanctions are going to remain in place very long after January 20th 2017, you're blind as a bat.

And if you think Big Business and Donald Trump give a shit about the common, working person, you're a fool.

Give this a read.

Pants on Fire

PEOTUS says he's going to get Mexico to pay for that ridiculous wall AFTER taxpayers cough up the money.

Mr. Trump: You said Mexico was going to pay for it. You said nothing about us paying for it. Put up or shut up.

Carl Paladumbass

I obviously haven’t written anything on this blog for some time.  With the staggering amount of painful dumbassery going on over the last couple of years, I just didn’t have it in me to try to keep up with it all.

But…I feel compelled to write a short bit about a magnificent dumbass and steaming piece of shit named Carl Paladino.  When recently asked what he’d like to see happen in 2017, he answered like this about the President and the First Lady of the United States:

“Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a Her[e]ford. He dies before trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to [senior White House adviser] Valerie Jarrett, who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady cell mate mistook her being a nice person and decapitated her.”

“Michelle Obama. I’d like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortable in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla.”

After being hammered by pretty much every sane person on the face of the earth with a reading comprehension and vocabulary exceeding the third grade, he denied that the comments were racist.

As I’ve said in a number of comments on various pages over the last few days, Carl Paladino is a classless pussy with a big fucking mouth.  He really is a horrible human being.  He’s also a liar.

The bio on this piece of shit’s website claims the following:

“He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1971 and was assigned to Fort Bliss, Texas to serve for active duty in the U.S. Army.”

And

“He retired from military service as a Captain in 1981.”

Paladino’s previous military service claims were debunked by his own gubernatorial campaign manager, Michael Caputo, in a story by the NY Post in 2010.

Paladino served only for a few months on active duty in 1971, which is quite a difference from retiring from military service.  Records also showed that he spent 8 years in the Army reserves, serving mostly in Buffalo.  The reserves.  Let’s say his reserve time is right.  Reservists typically serve on active duty for two days a month for 11 months out of the year, and two weeks of active duty once a year.  That means (if my math is right), that Paladino served 384 days on active duty (1.05yrs).  Neither 8 years nor 384 days qualifies this pinhead for military retirement benefits.  There is, of course, the off chance that he was forced to take a medical retirement because of a physical ailment or mental dysfunction.

Carl Paladino is a product of our own society, which has taken a turn for the dark, as evidence by the election of another horrible human being named Donald J. Trump who, of course, Paladino loves.

What a sad time we live in where men like this have replaced men of honor and dignity who once served in our government.

Drumpf

I am so very, very tired of people saying, “I think what Mr. Trump means,” skirting answering questions, and asking the voting public to disregard his erratic, caustic, divisive, rude-ass behavior and rhetoric to focus on his message.  His message?  The logic behind the latter is absolutely insane.  That’s like asking a jury to disregard a serial child molester’s crimes because he’s such a wonderful advocate for the poor.  Wow.

And to ignore the fact that he incited his now-base into a frothy feeding frenzy by continuously promoting a lie about the President of the United States is just plain fucked up.  I don’t care who the fuck started what, but if the son of a bitch can’t own something he did, and admit it was a mistake or whatever…well, fuck him.

Crash and Burn - Military Edition

I'm sure everyone has heard about the guy who cold-cocked the protester in the red, white, and blue shirt at a Trump presidential rally on March 19th.  If not, here's a link to the story.

So anyway, the guy who did the sucker-punching is a guy named Tony Pettway, who happens to be a fourteen-year Staff Sergeant (E-5) in the Air Force, and a Security Forces Specialist (3P AF Specialty Code) stationed at Davis Monthan AFB in Arizona.  Air Force personnel refer to people in the 3P field as cops.

My opinion of the whole Pettway thing is summed up in one word:  Disgust. Tony Pettway has dishonored his service, the military, and the country by his inexcusable actions.  My hope is that he's hung out to dry by the Air Force.  With fourteen years of service under his belt, he's subject to what the military calls High Year Tenure when he reaches his fifteenth year.  HYT is intended to cull the ranks of the military by removing people (underachievers) from service who aren't making rank within specified time frames.  For an E-5, the limit is 15 years.  Pettway may get bounced soon anyway by HYT, but I'd sure like to see him get hosed through the military justice system.

To Pettway I say:  Your are a pathetic excuse for a non commissioned officer and a human being.

Special Double Wannabe Edition

On the Paris tragedy, his idiotness Donald Trump said, “And I’ll tell you what, you can say what you want, but if they had guns, if our people had guns, if they were allowed to carry, it would have been a much, much different situation."

Look shit-for-brains, I hardly think that 8 hours (or so) of state-mandated handgun training is sufficient to make a difference in a surprise attack by trained terrorists with fully automatic weapons.  In fact, some states have no live fire requirements and no minimum number of hours of training required to get a concealed carry permit.  An inept, inexperienced handgun owner would have been no better than any of the unarmed citizens in any of those crowds in Paris. They would've been too busy shitting their pants to draw their weapon, I can tell you that mucch.

-----------

Uncle Jeb said today on Meet the Press that he'd have no-fly zones over Syria.  I wonder how the Russians would feel about that.

Where do these morons come from?
